By private application or by referral. An application is reviewed by an advisor, and if we believe we can help, we invite you to a consultation. Membership is confirmed only after that conversation — by both parties.

No. We decline more applications than we accept, usually because the search we would be asked to conduct is not one we can carry out well. When we decline, we say so directly and there is no charge.

No. There are no public profiles, no member directory and no browsing of any kind. Your details are held for your advisor and the colleagues working on your engagement. Nothing is shared with another person without your consent, given for that specific introduction.

See Discretion for the full standard.

Fewer than you might expect, and deliberately so. We do not commit to a number, because a number would commit us to making introductions we do not believe in. What we commit to is that each one comes with reasons you can examine.

It varies considerably. A defined search in a large market may move quickly; a specific brief in a narrow geography can take much longer. We will give you an honest assessment of difficulty at the consultation, before you commit to anything.

Then we conduct a dedicated search beyond it — discreetly, through our advisors and trusted channels, without disclosing your identity to anyone under consideration. This is a core part of the Signature engagement and of every Private Mandate.

Each engagement is agreed privately and in full before any work begins. There are no monthly charges, no automatic renewals and no fees contingent on the outcome of an introduction. The figures shown on the Mandates page indicate where each level of engagement commences.

Every candidate is met personally by an advisor, and their circumstances confirmed — identity, situation, and intent. Where a member requires further assurance, additional verification can be arranged through appropriate professional firms, with everyone's consent.

Yes. Under a Private Mandate we can conduct a search without disclosing your identity, and where required without disclosing that a search is taking place at all. These arrangements are agreed in writing at the outset.

Our advisors work from London, New York, Geneva, Dubai and Singapore, and travel for mandates elsewhere. Many members hold more than one residence, and searches are conducted across markets accordingly.

No. Applying and the initial consultation carry no charge and no obligation on either side. Fees arise only when an engagement is agreed.

Your advisor speaks with both parties privately and candidly. That conversation shapes the next stage of the search. As a relationship develops, advisory support continues for as long as the engagement runs, if you want it.

The rest is best discussed in person.
