Legend Identity — a separate service

One appointment, one code, and anyone you deal with can check it. It is available on its own, and it says nothing about whether you use anything else we do.

Holding a Legend mark does not mean you are a client of anything else we do.
This house is better known for its relationship practice. The mark is not part of it. It is a separate service with a separate purpose, and the two are kept apart deliberately — because a credential that implied you were looking for a partner would be useless to most of the people who need one, and unwelcome to the rest.
We do not ask why you want it. We do not offer you anything else afterwards. And a stranger checking your code is told what we verified and nothing more.
Who holds one
Anyone whose word is being taken on trust.
The problem is always the same shape: two people, no shared history, and one of them has to decide whether to believe the other. A mark does not settle everything, but it settles the first question.
Those who work with people they never meet
Advisors, consultants and specialists engaged remotely, where the client is asked to hand over something valuable on the strength of a profile.
Private sellers and private buyers
Art, property, vehicles, anything transacted between individuals rather than through a house — where both sides would rather know who they are dealing with.
Hosts, and those they admit
Private events, clubs and gatherings that would rather check a code than take a copy of a passport and become responsible for keeping it.
How to obtain one
Ask for an appointment
Below, or by writing to the office. We ask for your name, a city, and nothing else. There is no application to be accepted or declined — this is a service, not a membership.
Sit with an advisor, once
Twenty minutes, in one of our cities or wherever we can reach you. Bring an original identity document. We look at it and hand it back; we do not photograph it, copy it, or keep it.
Your mark, the same day
A code and a seal. You choose where to place them, and each placement gets its own code so one can be withdrawn without the others.
Good for a year, then seen again
In person, like the first time. A mark that is not re-confirmed lapses, and the public page says so rather than going quiet.
Fee. A single fee for the appointment and the first year, agreed before you attend and settled afterwards. Re-confirmation is charged at the same rate. There is no subscription and no charge to whoever checks your code.
What it does not do
We will not oversell this.
A mark removes one category of risk — that the person does not exist, or is not who they claim. It removes none of the others. Sold as anything more, it would make people less careful rather than safer, and we would rather have a smaller service than that.

Where a client needs more than identity — conduct, litigation, sanctions, provenance — we say so and name firms who do that properly. It is not what this is.

No application. Just a time.
Nobody is assessed, accepted or declined for a mark. If you are who you say you are, you can hold one — that is the whole test.
We do not ask what you want it for, and we would rather you did not tell us.
Received
We will write with times.
Usually within two working days. Bring an original document — a passport or a national identity card. We look at it and hand it straight back.
You will not hear from us about anything else, now or later.
