The Method

Nothing to browse. Everything considered.

From the first conversation to the introduction itself, the work is carried out by people who know you — and who answer for every recommendation they make.

Before anything begins

We are not trying to place you with someone. We are trying to understand you first.

Most people arrive able to describe what they do not want with great precision, and what they do want only vaguely. That is normal, and it is where the work starts.

A Legend engagement opens with several hours of conversation before a single name is considered. What emerges is not a list of preferences but a portrait: how you live, what you are building, what you will never negotiate, and what you have quietly decided you can live without.

The six movements

A defined method, adapted to each member — never a funnel.

At every stage you deal with one named advisor. Nothing moves forward without your express agreement.

01

Private Consultation

An unhurried meeting — in person where possible, otherwise by secure call. We discuss your circumstances, your history, and what a serious partnership would need to look like to be worth your time. There is no obligation on either side at this stage; we are also deciding whether we can genuinely help.

02

Personal Profile

Your advisor prepares a confidential portrait covering values, temperament, family intentions, lifestyle, faith and cultural considerations, geography, and the practical realities of your calendar. You review and correct it. It is held privately and never published in any form.

03

Curation

We search the private network first. Where the right person is not already known to us, we conduct a dedicated search — discreetly, through our advisors and trusted channels, without disclosing your identity to anyone under consideration.

04

Assessment

Every candidate is met personally and their circumstances verified. We assess compatibility across character, values, life stage, intentions and the practical fit of two lives — then we argue the case internally before anything reaches you.

05

Introduction

You receive a considered written introduction and the reasoning behind it. If you agree, and only then, we approach the other party. Names, photographs and details are exchanged when both people have consented — never before. We arrange the meeting, including the setting, if you would prefer us to.

06

Ongoing Advisory

After each introduction we speak with both parties, privately and candidly. That feedback sharpens the search. As a relationship develops, your advisor remains available for counsel for as long as the engagement runs.

Two chairs, one conversation

What we ask of you

Candour, and a little patience.

  • Honesty about your circumstances, including the complicated parts.
  • A genuine intention to build a serious relationship.
  • Willingness to meet someone who is right rather than familiar.
  • Direct feedback after each introduction, however blunt.
  • The same discretion, extended to the people we introduce you to.

The pace

We would rather introduce one person than five.

We do not promise a timeline, because a promised timeline is a promise to lower the standard. Some searches conclude quickly. Others take considerably longer, particularly where requirements are specific or geography is narrow.

What we do commit to is momentum you can see: regular contact with your advisor, a clear account of what is being explored, and an honest answer whenever the answer is not yet.
